moon and waterdrops

as some know, I'm now the proud owner of a zuiko 70-300mm. Haven't had time to try it out properly yet, cause of work and uni, but after next friday I should have more time :)

so, since I haven't had time during the day I've been waiting for a cloudless night, to get a great moon shot, cause believe me the moon shots I've seen with that lens are freakin awsome!!
mine didn't turn out as great as the ones I've seen cause it hasn't been totally cloudless, but hey definitely better than with my kit lens ;)

and since the weather sucked most of the time in the last couple weeks, I also did some indoor shooting featuring water (once again hehe)

oky, so it's been way to long since my last post, and believe me I've felt very guilty about it.

since the weather these days could be better and it's freezing outside, I spent the whole day inside today and thought that would be a great opportunity for some new pictures ;)

I've already done some throw-stuff-in-water-pictures before and kinda went back to that hehe.
so long story shot, I got some water and a cube to throw into and ended up with some decent pictures.


I think I'm gonna use one of the last two for a new header....don't know for sure yet. we'll see ;)

more water fun...

here are some more fruit dropping pictures. I quite like the kiwifruit ones. it's my moms birthday soon, so I may get three of those developed and give them to her. dunno yet which ones and I can use every help to decide, so just tell me which ones you like best ;)

and one of an oreo cookie dropped in milk :) best thing is I got to eat the cookies after I took the pictures lol

water and strawberries...

it's been a while since my last entry, so it's really time for a little update :)

I've seen those kind of pictures where people throw a piece of fruit in the water and snap the water splash a lot on the internet. and I always thought you'd have to have a tripod to get any good one, but since laura did one of those pictures too and told me that she didn't use one, I thought I'd give it a try
I'm not entirely satisfied with the result. dunno why, I guess I always find something I don't like at my own pictures, but I think they aren't that bad for the start.
I think I took about 300 pictures and out of those I had just a couple that were useful.

at first I tried it with a kiwifruit, but it didn't really work as good as with the strawberries. I'm gonna try it with some other fruits the next time, so there'll probably come more pictures like those ;)
