rediscovering instagram

it was one of the first apps I downloaded after I got my new ipod touch with camera and I was quite obsessed with it in the beginning but somehow that faded after a while. being as lazy as I am I often find myself wanting to take a picture (mostly at work in the Zoo) and not having my DSLR with me cause I didn't want to carry it. so the ipod has to do.



I'm really like the different filter Instagram offers and I'm also starting to like the imperfect picture the ipod produces - not totally sharp images, exposure is off and pictures are really grainy most of the time...but I've learned that it's all kind of the charme of those snapshots.



so from now on you can find the latest of my instagram pictures at the bottom of the page and if you click on "instagram feed" you can see all of them in one place

trying out some new old lenses

got three "new" old lenses from my grandpa since he was cleaning out his basement and doesn't need them anymore :) he's really spoiling me with all his old photography stuff! it's two 50mm lenses (Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f2.8 and another one I don't rememebr) and a zoom lens (Osawa 80-200mm f4.5).
naturally I had to take them with me to the zoo and try them out and they are quite good as soon as you're used to the manual focus

definitely liking the zoom lens for the zoo
