black and white try-out

ok, so I've been playing around with different settings on my camera lately and totally fell in love with the black/white setting.
we had a family thing last weekend, which was just the perfect opporunity to try it out :)

I really like this one. dunno why, I mean it's just a cup of coffee and the cup's not even all clean. but somehow with the black/white and the contrast being not that harsh, it kinda did it to me

spent most of the sunday in the garden enjoying the nice weather since it's supposed to get colder this week. and of course I took my camera with me


and I even found some red leaves lol not a lot, but still...

and I LOVE my macro lense!!!!

autumn's beauty

wow, it's been a while since I last posted something. well, just so you now I haven't forgotten about my bolg, just haven't had time to use my camera and take some pictures.

but today I went for a walk in the woods with my family and I thought I'd use that opportunity to take some fall pictures.

I would have liked the leaves to be more redish, cause that just makes autumn as awsome as it is.
but this year we seem to have just yellow, green or browinsh colors :/

these were taken with my new macro lense btw. haven't had all that mucht tim to try it out, so they're far from perfect, but don't worry, I'll get the hang of it lol
