one month down...

...eleven to go.
I finished my first month today. this week was a bit harder than last week, cause I had several days where I had absolutely no idea as to what to photograph. and I was also sick the last couple of days, so there was less motivation to look for inspiration. but I managed, and thats what important, right?



here's todays picture. I think its a nice last january picture. nothing special, but fitting.

Project 365 week 3

changed a few things around the blog, mainly the sidebar. it was getting too long for my liking, so I removed a couple of things ;) you can now find the archive and the tags by clicking on the link in the top menu. and I added some social site buttons to the left so you dont have to look around for too long if you wanna find them. and I also added a tweet button at the top of each post, since I'm not quite sure if I'm gonna stick with the bookmark bar at the bottom of the posts.
which one do you like better?

time to get to the pictures
another week is over and I didnt have too much problems getting a picture everyday.
there were one or two day where I was a bit clueless, but I managed :)

and since one of my goals with this project is to get better at photographing people I went with a selfie for todays picture. also gave me a chance to try out my remote control for my camera

Project 365 week2

got one new thing around the blog. I have a new "header". its not really a header, since I havent decided what to use in it yet, but the christmas layout had to go ;)
and I'm also thinking about changing the blog a bit in the near future, so keep checking back


second week for project 365 is over. I didnt have as much time to take photos as I'd liked due to exams coming up, but I've managed to take at least one each day.

update on project 365

okay, so it's been a little over a week into the project 365 and I have to say its not that easy lol but the good thing is I use my camera everyday and make more pictures than in the past, where I sometimes went days or even weeks without taking any pictures. so I really hope this project will help me to improve my skills and learn some new stuff.

this is todays picture. it's been raining all day and freezing outside, so the best thing to do is staying home with a nice cup of hot chocolate :-)



I'm still thinking about how to keep this blog updated with the pictures for the project 365. a weekly update like this? or something like every two or three days?
any ideas?

first post of 2010

Happy New Year everyone!!! Hope everyone had a great time, doing whatever you were doing :)



I got back from my trip out of town yesterday. had a great time, although I was hoping for a little snow. we had a patch here and there, but nothing compared to last year :/ I'm gonna post some pics from the trip as soon as I went through them all

I also realised that I havent gotten a good shot of our christmas tree yet. I'm gonna have to change that in the next couple of days :) but for now some deatil shots of our tree







and in other picture news, I decided to do the 365 project. you know, where you take a picture everyday of the year. dont know how long I'm gonna last, but I'll really TRY to stick to it. that may actually be good for keeping this blog updated ;) you can check out the pictures on my flickr account
